Four years ago I felt like the character above from What Time Is It There, cutting my hair short for Paris only to find that there's little fashionably independent or courageous about that.
All the panic attacks aside (the worst ever), this time I won't be clocking it alone. I wish I can quote more from La Bête et Le Souverain, the 300+ pages of Derrida's last seminar, which Sam and I are madly going through as much as we can before leaving on Friday. But the 'Herrschaft' is wagging his finger at me. So in the meantime, trust me that it's amazing.
