The Other Woman (reprise)
As the only one (gendered)
she is still the other woman,
a third party to anonymity.
Despite all the singling out, of
the one for the other,
she is still the odd one:
an extra wheel, light, body.
It is not a lie when she said
"there is no one else";
a multiplied interiority cannot (ac)count for herself
counting only on others.
Come in.
You, your +1.
When she's not leaving
me, too.
she is still the other woman,
a third party to anonymity.
Despite all the singling out, of
the one for the other,
she is still the odd one:
an extra wheel, light, body.
It is not a lie when she said
"there is no one else";
a multiplied interiority cannot (ac)count for herself
counting only on others.
Come in.
You, your +1.
When she's not leaving
me, too.

shades of riley. if you don't understand poetry, then i don't want to, either.
"it is not a lie when she said
there is no one else"
